As many of you know, Kreol was not selected as a finalist at the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition. We did, however, meet lots of creative people, including Eran Egozy (Harmonix) and Eliot Van Buskirk (Wired Magazine). Thank you to everyone for your continued support.

Jerzy Gangi has been accepted into the Summer 2009 Workshop for Algorithmic Computer Music with David Cope. David Cope's primary area of research involves artificial intelligence and music; he writes programs and algorithms that can analyze existing music and create new compositions in the style of the original input music. His EMI (Experiments in Musical Intelligence) software has produced works in the style of over a hundred composers -- ranging from short pieces to full length operas.
