As a music technology consultant, Mr. Gangi has helped clients understand the most musical ways to use technology in productions and installations. Musical Director

Jerzy Gangi is a musical director, conducting musical theater productions throughout the United States and the world. By combining choral principals with cutting-edge music technology, Jerzy Gangi's performances are always marked by an authentic, Broadway sound. Mr. Gangi has worked with professional theaters, dinner theaters, community theaters, children's theaters, and theater camps at venues in Maryland, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

In 2003, Mr. Gangi made his conducting debut with the Berks Youth Theater Academy production of Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella." Since then, he has gone on to conduct, teach, prepare, and supervise the music for countless musicals, including "Annie," "The Wizard of Oz," "1776", "A Funny Thing Happened...Forum". Empowering theaters with technology, Jerzy Gangi brings "Broadway-caliber music" to every venue. Mr. Gangi has recorded background tracks, programmed synthesizers, and prepared custom rehearsal CDs for each cast member.

Jerzy Gangi earned his start in musical theater in 1993 as an actor, performing in the Stephen Schwartz musical "Pippin." After acting in twenty musicals, Mr. Gangi concluded his decade-long career on the stage. Inspired by a love of the performing arts, Mr. Gangi sharpened his interest in musical theater to focus on the music. Mr. Gangi engaged in choral conducting studies with Ed O'Neill beginning in 2001.

Along the way, Mr. Gangi found a love of composition and was commissioned to compose incidental music for dramas, adventures, comedies, and museums. Mr. Gangi continues to advanced his study of musical theater at Johns Hopkins University, where he currently studies Computer Music Composition under Dr. Geoffrey Wright at the Peabody Conservatory's historic Computer Music Department in Baltimore, MD.

The Musical Director is the heart of a musical. He is responsible for teaching the actors and musicians how to faithfully execute every note of the score.
